Job OverviewNCNS Communications is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to support the successful planning, coordination, and execution of structured cabling and low voltage installations. This role provides a valuable opportunity to learn directly from experienced project managers while playing a key role in project administration, documentation, and field coordination. - Assist Project Managers with the daily coordination of active job sites.
- Help create and manage project documentation including work packets, schedules, and material orders.
- Perform on-site visits to ensure job quality and assist with field crew support.
- Track project progress and update internal systems with schedule changes, delays, or issues.
- Communicate with clients, vendors, and field personnel regarding project updates.
- Help manage project documentation including close-out packages, test results, and as-builts.
- Participate in safety audits and help maintain compliance on job sites.
- Maintain tools, documentation, and other materials required for project execution.
- Support job estimating, procurement, and change orders as needed.
- 1–3+ years of experience in construction, low voltage, or project coordination preferred.
- Strong desire to grow into a Project Manager role.
- Familiarity with structured cabling or electrical systems is a plus.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Ability to read construction drawings or willingness to learn.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on active construction sites.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- A background check and drug screening will be completed as part of the onboarding process, in compliance with applicable laws.

Full-Time — Monday to Friday
Some overtime may be required depending on project schedules.
Work LocationBased in Sandy, UT, with travel to regional project sites as needed.
