NCNS Communications is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to support the successful planning, coordination, and execution of structured cabling and low voltage installations. This role provides a valuable opportunity to learn directly from experienced project managers while playing a key role in project administration, documentation, and field coordination. • Assist Project Managers with the daily coordination of active job sites.
• Help create and manage project documentation including work packets, schedules, and material orders.
• Perform on-site visits to ensure job quality and assist with field crew support.
• Track project progress and update internal systems with schedule changes, delays, or issues.
• Communicate with clients, vendors, and field personnel regarding project updates.
• Help manage project documentation including close-out packages, test results, and as-builts.
• Participate in safety audits and help maintain compliance on job sites.
• Maintain tools, documentation, and other materials required for project execution.
• Support job estimating, procurement, and change orders as needed.

• 1–3+ years of experience in construction, low voltage, or project coordination preferred.
• Strong desire to grow into a Project Manager role.
• Familiarity with structured cabling or electrical systems is a plus.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Ability to read construction drawings or willingness to learn.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on active construction sites.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• A background check and drug screening will be completed as part of the onboarding process, in compliance with applicable laws.

Full-Time — Monday to Friday

Some overtime may be required depending on project schedules.

Based in Sandy, UT, with travel to regional project sites as needed.
