Job Description

Summary:

C Shift, 12 hour rotating shift (6:00 AM - 6:00 PM). Scheduled to work 7 days in a 14 day period (2 on, 3 off, 2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 2 off; every other weekend off).

• Packaging, labeling, and handling of product and movement to specified locations.
• Perform limited product visual and manual inspections.
• Learn and maintain knowledge of all products produced in the department and all product quality specifications.
• Keep machinery, work area and floors neat and orderly in alignment with good manufacturing practices.
• Work effectively in a team with limited supervision.
• Understand and interpret controlled documents including work instructions, procedures, and inspection forms.
• Notify CILL and DMT II’s of any equipment issues.
• Work with molding team members to keep equipment running during breaks and callouts.
• Align with local BD quality policies, procedures, and practices through consistent application of sound quality assurance principles.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 6-12 months previous professional work experience (in a related or unrelated field) required; manufacturing experience a plus.
• Prefer, but not limited to, 0-1 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably injection molding presses (both electric & hydraulic).

• Stand and/or sit for extended periods; bending, stooping, reaching; walking, kneeling, balancing, crouching, pushing/pulling, repetitive grasping; lifting up to 20 lbs occasionally and up to 30 lbs with assistance; frequent handling of items.
• Exposure to moving mechanical equipment and potential temperature fluctuations.
