DaVita is seeking a Registered Nurse who is looking to provide care in an outpatient dialysis center. This role requires dialysis experience and includes floating between clinics in North Ogden, Layton, Bountiful, Salt Lake City, and Sandy, UT.

• Long term patient relationships and meaningful connections with patients and their families in an outpatient setting.
• A team that functions like a family within a small interdisciplinary clinical team, collaborating with technicians, dietitians, social workers, physicians, and center managers.
• Focus on delivering care for patients with end-stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease using a broad range of nursing skills.
• Fast-paced environment with patient census managed under state law, with support from PCTs for observations, stats, and machine setup.
• Flexible scheduling: shifts are typically 10-12 hours, 3-4 days/week; morning or day shifts with some holidays required.
• Clinical leadership focused on clinical goal setting and quality improvement initiatives.

• No dialysis experience required (and training provided).
• Float to various clinics during and after training; home clinic location may vary.
• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Current RN license in the state of practice; pre-licensure may be available in some locations.
• Empathetic, compassionate care and strong communication with patients and teammates.
• Experience assessing and making sound recommendations in stressful situations.
• Associates Degree in Nursing required; BSN or a 3-year diploma may be substituted; basic computer skills for EMR documentation.

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
• This location requires some dialysis experience and a minimum of 9 months RN experience
• Current driver’s license, reliable transportation, and vehicle insurance in state of residence
• Basic computer skills for MS Word and Outlook; EMR documentation experience

• ICU/CCU/ER or Med Surg experience
• Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN)
• Past experience with chronic hemodialysis, acute dialysis, or home hemodialysis
• Training/teaching or healthcare education background
