Essential Job Functions:

• Bag groceries at checkout, ensuring contents are not damaged and striving for at least five items per bag.
• Follow best practices for bagging with various types of bags.
• Assist in removing merchandise from bascarts for checkout.
• Offer to help customers load bags into their cars.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning and inform customers of specials.
• Return merchandise to shelves and gather bascarts.
• Maintain cleanliness inside and outside the store, including spills and trash.
• Handle seasonal merchandise and assist with store layout and product location.
• Reinforce safety procedures, report unsafe conditions, and adhere to food safety regulations.
• Practice preventive maintenance and notify management of repairs.
• Create a welcoming environment by assisting customers and answering questions.
• Follow all laws and company guidelines, and work cooperatively in a high-paced environment.
• Manage conflicts professionally, act with honesty, and follow directions.
• Support customers with special needs and perform essential functions with or without accommodations.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

• Customer Service skills
• Effective communication skills

Desired Previous Job Experience:

• Retail experience is preferred but not necessary
