Position PurposeBuild a cohesive Personal Training team, maintain a healthy pipeline of clients, and deliver an exceptional fitness experience for all club members.
Responsibilities- Achieve sales targets month‑over‑month, driving membership growth and ensuring new personal training agreements meet or exceed goals.
- Collaborate with the membership sales team to support onboarding of new members and drive sales initiatives.
- Hire, train, schedule, and supervise staff, including Personal Training Managers, Assistant Fitness Managers, and Personal Trainers.
- Manage payroll for Assistant Fitness Managers and personal trainers, ensuring timely and accurate payment.
- Communicate goals, expectations, and procedures to department leaders and staff.
- Ensure all fitness staff hold required certifications such as CPR, First Aid, and personal trainer certifications.
- Provide constructive feedback to staff, highlighting strengths and improvement areas.
- Address member concerns, manage membership inquiries, and resolve issues promptly.
- Engage members in a friendly manner, actively listening to their needs and providing helpful responses.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain proper certifications and safety protocols.
- Supervise facility cleanliness, including equipment, locker rooms, and common areas.
- Communicate calmly and clearly with staff and members during emergencies or disruptions, providing necessary instructions and updates.
- 2 years of management experience; fitness/personal training management is a plus.
- 3–4 years of customer service experience.
- Personal training sales experience is highly preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
- Excellent relationship building and influencing skills at all levels.
- Strong detail orientation, systematic problem‑solving, and time management.
- Excellent MS Office skills.

- Must successfully pass a background check.
- CPR certification required within 30 days of hire.
- Must have valid PT certification.
- Previous sales experience required.
- Ability to work in a gym setting, move about club floors, and communicate with employees, members, and the public.
- Ability to access and operate the company computer system, including preparing documents, entering data, and reading reports.
- Ability to bend routinely and repetitively to lift more than 40 lbs.

Salary Pay Range: $58,656—$60,008 USD
