Position Overview:

Department: Corporate/Administrative

Location: Jacksonville, FL

Description:

CPH is seeking a skilled Project Accountant who will monitor project progress and KPIs, investigate variances, approve expenses, and ensure project billings are issued and payments collected. Project accounting tracks and reports the financial performance of individual projects, aiding in monitoring progress, costs, and profitability.

• Communicate and collaborate effectively with Project Managers and stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
• Regularly review and update project accounting to reflect actuals and manage risks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up projects, recognize monthly revenue, analyze trends.
• Compile and analyze reports to assist Project Managers in achieving profitability.
• Verify employee chargeable time and expenses according to standards.
• Maintain contracts and manage modifications within Vision software.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for payments and contract changes.
• Perform additional tasks as directed by management.

Requirements:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs).
• ERP software experience, preferably Deltek.
