Coordinator, Center Business Development
Seminole State College, Sanford, FL. This position provides administrative support, bookkeeping, budgeting, payroll, leasing, and facility maintenance for the Center for Business Development.
Essential Functions- Assist with creating department budgets, including account coding and previous year expenditure analysis.
- Create and maintain a plan to track and manage department budgets, resolving vendor issues, maintaining databases, and recommending best use of funds and resources.
- Manage the leasing process, including client invoicing and related administrative tasks for the business incubation program.
- Maintain employee attendance, leave, and payroll records for accurate payroll preparation and submission.
- Process requisitions for blanket purchase orders from department budgets and supplies, equipment, and promotional items.
- Manage the creation and maintenance of online mailing list databases for college and community events.
- Maintain office equipment and schedule routine and emergency maintenance, inspection, and repair.
- Coordinate maintenance, inspections, and repairs for building systems and office infrastructure, ensuring Wi‑Fi, keyless entry fobs, HVAC, and other facility technologies and services are functioning properly.
- Support the department in providing administrative duties, such as maintaining office supplies, making travel arrangements, taking meeting minutes, and scheduling appointments and events.
- Perform all duties as may be required or assigned.
- Graduated from an accredited high school or possession of an acceptable equivalency diploma.
- Three years of bookkeeping or administrative support experience.
- Associate degree from a regionally or nationally accredited institution.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent planning and organizing skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel) and the ability to become proficient in videoconferencing applications, including Teams and Zoom.
- Ability to take initiative and work independently.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to treat confidential information with sensitivity.
- Ability to develop and manage relationships at all levels of the organization and with external stakeholders.
- Ability to effectively plan work activities, schedules, priorities, and utilization of resources.

Competitive pay with a beginning salary of $34,632, commensurate with education and experience. 37.5‑hour work week. Benefits include:
