AboutThe Role
Are you passionate about bringing people together and ensuring every detail is handled with excellence? Ligonier Ministries is seeking a proactive and organized Events Coordinator to join our Events & Hospitality Services team! As our Events Coordinator, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the planning and execution of events. You’ll work closely with Event Managers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure every event runs smoothly.
This position is perfect for someone who thrives on task completion, proactive communication, and detailed follow‑through.
- Provide essential administrative and logistical support for a variety of ministry events
- Maintain and update the Event Master List and departmental calendars for organization‑wide visibility
- Assist in managing Event Registration and Event Management Platforms
- Track event attendance, budgets, and financial summaries
- Coordinate with vendors, manage contracts, and oversee W9 collection
- Liaise with warehouse staff to ensure timely delivery and return of event assets
- Communicate event status to stakeholders and monitor internal channels for issues
- Support Event Managers who are frequently traveling
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 2–3 years of experience in event coordination or administrative support
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Agreement with Ligonier Ministries’ Statement of Faith
- Desk‑based role with occasional lifting (up to 25 lbs.)
- Must be able to travel up to 5% to support off‑site events
This position is for a non‑profit Christian ministry. At this time, we are only able to hire individuals who are authorized to work in the United States.
Pay ranges represent the lowest to highest salary we reasonably believe we would pay for this role at the time of posting. We may ultimately offer more or less than the posted range, and the ranges may be modified in the future. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, geographic location, and organizational needs.
