- Comprehensive knowledge of funding sources and associated requirements and regulations, including 2 Code of Federal Regulation 200 – Uniform Administration Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards;
- Comprehensive knowledge of procedures related to financial administration of grants;
- Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office software (e.g. Excel, Word, etc.);
- Comprehensive knowledge of modern office practices and use of standard office equipment;
- Thorough knowledge in the use of Munis Financial Software;
- Ability to analyze, research, and interpret grant guidelines, independently research and analyze information and propose programs and projects, write clear and concise reports, correspondence, and other related work, effectively communicate both in writing and orally, work independently with minimal supervision, establish and maintain effective working relationship with a variety of individuals and diverse groups and develop a consensus on specific issues, prioritize work, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from an accredited college or university with major coursework in accounting, finance, or related field and extensive experience in governmental accounting. Must meet and maintain all certification, license and training requirements for position.
