Job Summary and Qualifications

Performs all duties of a Radiology Technologist, applying ionizing radiation to detect pathology, and overseeing general operations of the department as assigned. Regulates equipment for radiographic imaging, utilizes PACS, operates equipment safely, and maintains A.L.A.R.A. standards. Provides patient care during imaging procedures, establishes and maintains professional relationships with staff and departments.

Qualifications

• Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT)
• Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) or BCLS Instructor, obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
