X-Ray Tech - Medical Assistant

Overview

This X-Ray Technician / Medical Assistant position at MD Now Urgent Care Clinic is incentive eligible and offers a sign‑on bonus of up to $3,500. The clinic operates Monday–Sunday 8 am–8 pm, so applicants must have flexibility to work during those hours.

• Take vital signs, collect lab specimens and administer IM injections.
• Perform all X‑ray/imaging services according to provider orders and update patient charts.
• Collect patient history and document EHR appropriately.
• Apply splints, dressings and bandages.
• Assist with check‑in/check‑out and audit charts as needed.
• Maintain records on lab work, drug screens and other in‑house activities.
• Inform patients and visitors of clinic progress.

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or completion of an approved BOTP program (required).
• 1 + year of clinical experience in a patient care setting (helpful).
• Experience using an EHR system (beneficial).
• Radiological Technologist (RT) or Basic X‑ray Machine Operator license in state of residency (required).
• Current BLS Certification within 30 days of start (required).
• Federal Breath Alcohol Screening and Federal Drug Screening Certifications within 3 months of employment (required).
• Current AAMA certification preferred.
