As a Lead Pharmacy Technician, you will work to lead and support the Omnicell and all pharmacy back-end operations and technicians. Our back-end team focuses on order fulfillment including packaging and dispensing of medication, Omnicell restock and audits, reviewing delivery orders and bins for accuracy, and coordinating stock rotations. Additional tasks and responsibilities include:

• Leading and assisting Pre-Pack, Picking, Staging, Automated Dispensing, Purchasing, Inventory, Returns/Credits, and Delivery departments toward their primary objectives
• Providing regular and timely feedback on pharmacy technician performance
• Partnering with pharmacy leaders on team training plans and collaborating with field training teams as needed
• Assisting in orientation, training, and education programs for all controlled substances in accordance with policies, procedures, state, and federal laws

Although Omnicare pharmacies are not open to the public, you'll work amongst great colleagues in a supportive environment aligned with the company's mission, allowing our customers to focus on giving their patients the best care.

• Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law
• One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician or equivalent experience

Additional Skills/Experience, but not

Required:

• Prior experience in the long-term care industry
• Prior experience in Omnicell/Pyxis operations
• Prior experience in leadership
• Prior experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
• PTCB National Certification

• Verifiable High School Diploma or GED

The typical pay range for this role is:

$18.50 - $31.72

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
