Overview

Lead Pharmacy Technician, Back End – CVS Health. Omnicare, a CVS Health Company, provides care to those in skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, and chronic care settings. Lead and support the Omnicell and all pharmacy back-end operations and technicians. Our back-end team focuses on order fulfillment including packaging and dispensing of medication, Omnicell restock and audits, reviewing delivery orders and bins for accuracy, and coordinating stock rotations.

• Leading and assisting Pre-Pack, Picking, Staging, Automated Dispensing, Purchasing, Inventory, Returns/Credits, and Delivery departments toward their primary objectives
• Providing regular and timely feedback on pharmacy technician performance
• Partnering with pharmacy leaders on team training plans and collaborating with field training teams as needed
• Assisting in orientation, training, and education programs for all controlled substances in accordance with policies, procedures, state, and federal laws

• Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law
• One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician or equivalent experience

• Prior experience in the long-term care industry
• Prior experience in Omnicell/Pyxis operations
• Prior experience in leadership
• Prior experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
• PTCB National Certification

• Verifiable High School Diploma or GED
