The Constitutional Office of Seminole County Supervisor of Elections prides itself on ensuring the accuracy and integrity of elections in Seminole County, Florida. All staff are charged with maintaining the highest professional standards based on four core competencies:

The Project Manager is an integral deputy who reports to the Assistant Supervisor of Elections. The Project Manager is responsible for developing, managing and revising processes related to the preparation, execution and assessment of procedures for elections in accordance with federal and state laws and within budget. The Project Manager will serve as the key developer and communicator for any interdepartmental projects.

This deputy works with appropriate staff for the coordination of staff for election worker hiring and training. This deputy communicates interdepartmental requirements internally and externally to ensure efficient project process and completion. The Project Manager will develop and manage projects including but not limited to:
Election Outreach Events, Candidate Services and Voter Services Projects.

• Serve as the lead project manager for all elections, including municipal, special, primary, and general elections.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive election project plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Coordinate pre-election, election-day, and post-election activities across all departments.
• Track progress, identify risks, and proactively address issues that could impact election readiness or compliance.
• Assists with coordination of post-election recovery

• Assists with coordination of Outreach Event Project Manager ensuring coordination across all departments and external points of contact in a timely manner.
• Assists with coordination of mock election events by serving as the primary point of contact for external stakeholders, develop and oversee the coordination of resources and staff needed per event and responsible for the post event recovery and process assessment.
• Manages Voter Services special projects processes as needed or mandated.
• Manages Candidate Services special projects processes as needed or mandated.
• Manage other special projects assigned.

• Act as the central communication liaison between departments to ensure alignment, clarity, and timely information sharing.
• Facilitate regular election planning meetings and status updates with department leads.
• Ensure departmental responsibilities are clearly defined, documented, and executed according to schedule.
• Escalate issues, conflicts, or resource gaps to leadership with recommended solutions.

• Identify operational, staffing, technology, logistics, and compliance risks.
• Develop mitigation plans for contingencies such as staffing shortages, equipment issues, facility changes, or emergencies.
• Support continuity of operations planning and after-action reviews following each election.

• Ensure election projects adhere to Florida Statutes, administrative rules, and internal policies.
• Maintain clear documentation of election processes, timelines, and decisions.
• Assist with post-election reporting, audits, grant documentation, and lessons-learned summaries.

• Assists with coordination of activities with vendors, partner agencies, municipalities, and other governmental entities.
• Track vendor deliverables and timelines related to election execution.
• Support interlocal agreements, MOUs, and election service coordination as assigned.
