The Voter Outreach Coordinator is responsible for expanding the Seminole County Supervisor of Elections Office's presence throughout the community through direct voter engagement, voter registration, education, partnerships, public events, and speaking opportunities.
This position is expected to spend significant time in the community identifying and pursuing opportunities to reach voters where they live, work, attend school, and gather. The Voter Outreach Coordinator develops relationships with community organizations, schools, businesses, municipalities, civic groups, homeowner associations, senior communities, and other organizations to increase election awareness and voter participation.
The Voter Outreach Coordinator also uses voter registration, turnout, and precinct-level data to identify areas and populations with lower voter participation and develops targeted, nonpartisan outreach strategies to better reach those communities. The position serves as a visible representative of the Supervisor of Elections Office and must be comfortable speaking publicly, building relationships, and proactively creating opportunities for community engagement.
