Job Summary and QualificationsWe are seeking a dynamic, compassionate and reliable ICU RN to provide care for patients requiring close monitoring and frequent assessment. In this role you will make clinical assessments and manage treatment autonomously as part of a collaborative team that supports one another.
In this role you will:- Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient’s health or situation.
- Advocate for patients as part of the interdisciplinary team.
- Use clinical judgment to manage delivery of patient care safely and effectively.
- Monitor critical vital signs and intervene in life‑threatening situations.
- Educate patients and families regarding medications, procedures, and treatments.
- Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required. Compact license holders have 60 days to obtain the Florida license after relocation.
- 1+ years of RN experience in an acute‑care environment preferred.
- Registered Nurse Diploma, Associate Degree, or BSN preferred.
- NIH Stroke Scale certification within 30 days of employment start.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) or BCLS Instructor certification within 30 days of start.
- American Heart Association ACLS Provider card required within 6 months of employment start date.
- PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support or PALS Instructor certification within 6 months of employment start date.
