Registered Nurse PACU PRN – HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital

• Manage airway support and monitor ventilation, cardiovascular, and neurologic status of postoperative patients.
• Provide initial wound care and assess surgical sites for complications.
• Collaborate with the surgical and anesthesia teams to coordinate patient care and continuum of care.
• Respond promptly to any adverse events and initiate appropriate interventions.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner.
• Participate in scheduled unit rounds and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
• Support unit leadership in fostering a respectful and interdisciplinary team culture.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred;
  Associate Degree in Nursing required.
• Florida RN license (or multistate RN license) required.
• BLS‑AHA provider card issued within 30 days of start.
• ACLS‑American Heart Association provider card issued within 6 months.
• PALS provider card issued within 6 months.
• One year of registered nursing experience required.
• Preferred: ASPAN certification and experience in post‑operative or critical care environments.
