Registered Nurse – Cardiac Neuro Tele (Med/Tele)

- Position Type: Direct Hire

- Days (Rotating Weekends)
- Nights (Rotating Weekends)
- Start Date: ASAP
- Shift
Hours:
12-hour shifts
- Perform assessments, develop care plans, and document patient conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments under authorized prescriptions.
- Monitor telemetry and cardiac/neuro patient responses.
- Educate patients and families on wellness and recovery.
- Promote a safe and high-satisfaction care environment.
- 1+ year of recent acute care RN experience (within last 1–2 years)
- Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred
- Valid FL RN License or Compact RN License (must apply for FL license)
- Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS Certifications
- NIHSS Certification required within 30 days of hire
- 3+ years of RN experience with multi-state compact license
- Experience in post-cardiac care, telemetry, or neuro-medical units
- Acute patient monitoring (telemetry, post-CABG, neuro)
- Medication administration and IV therapy
- Cardiac and neuro patient assessment
- Patient and family communication
- Emergency response skills
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certified
- Care coordination and discharge planning
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR systems)
- Collaborative team-based care delivery
- Strong documentation and organizational skills
- High emotional intelligence in fast-paced environments
