ICU Stepdown RN

Shifts: Days or Nights (Rotating Weekends)

• Base Pay: $31.86 — $46.28/hour (DOE)

• ~5 years: $36.12/hr

• ~10 years: $40.44/hr

• ~17+ years: $46.28/hr

• Shift Differentials: +$4.50/hr (Nights) | +$1.50/hr (Weekends)

• Sign-On Bonus: $15,000 (Days) | $20,000 (Nights) — available through Q3

• Relocation Assistance: Case-by-case

Join a collaborative 15-bed ICU Stepdown (PCU) unit providing advanced intermediate-level care. This true stepdown environment features a 3:1 nurse-to-patient ratio (occasionally 4:1) with patients requiring cardiac drips, long-term ventilators, and frequent assessments. This is an ideal role for nurses who excel in high-acuity settings and enjoy bridging ICU and med-surg care.

• Perform frequent assessments and monitor patients requiring close observation

• Manage cardiac drips, long-term ventilators, and advanced stepdown-level treatments

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe, effective care

• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and recovery processes

• Foster a culture of teamwork, safety, and clinical excellence

• Active Florida RN license or Compact RN license (required)

• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU Stepdown experience (required)

• Will consider RNs with 3+ years of Cardiac or Multisystem PCU experience

• ADN or Nursing Diploma required;
  BSN preferred

• NIHSS certification within 30 days

• BLS within 30 days;
  ACLS within 6 months
