Registered Nurse (RN) Med Surg | Sanford, FL

Full-Time | Days, Rotating Weekends
Pay Range: $30.75 to $44.68/hr (based on experience)
Shift Differentials: $4.50/hr Nights | $1.50/hr Weekends
Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 (Days) | $15,000 (Nights)

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Administer medications, monitor treatment responses, and adjust care plans as needed.
• Advocate for patient safety and wellbeing at all times.
• Educate patients and families about medications, procedures, and discharge instructions.
• Utilize time, supplies, and equipment efficiently to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient care activities.
• Support and uphold infection control standards and facility policies.

Required:

• Active Florida RN license or multistate compact license (must obtain Florida license within 60 days of relocation).
• Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS AHA) required within 30 days of start.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification within 30 days of employment.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care RN experience OR acute inpatient rehabilitation experience.

Preferred:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Prior experience in a 5:1 or 6:1 med-surg unit ratio environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills with a commitment to patient advocacy.
