Position Overview

Join a collaborative, high-acuity 26-bed Cardiac Neuro Stroke Unit caring for patients with stroke, neuro, cardiac, and med-surg conditions.

This role offers exposure to advanced equipment including Baxter pumps, GE Telemetry, and bladder scanners with a patient ratio of 1:6. Ideal for RNs passionate about neuro and telemetry care who want strong teamwork, supportive leadership, and opportunities for clinical growth.

• Collect, analyze, and interpret patient health data to develop safe and effective care plans
• Monitor vital signs and intervene in life-threatening situations
• Administer medications, perform treatments, and provide patient/family education
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to optimize outcomes
• Contribute to a culture of teamwork, accountability, and patient safety

• Active Florida RN license or Compact RN license
• Minimum 1 year of recent acute-care Med‑Surg or Telemetry RN experience
• ADN or Nursing Diploma (BSN preferred)
• NIH Stroke Scale certification within 30 days
• BLS within 30 days; ACLS within 6 months

• Acute Rehab RNs (Kindred, Encompass, Health South, Select Specialty) comfortable working in a Stroke Unit
