Inside Sales Representative
Würth Industry of North America is looking for an experienced Inside Sales Representative to serve as the internal first line contact for assigned customer accounts. The role focuses on sales, expediting, quoting, and quality assurance, covering the end‑to‑end sales cycle through account management and data analysis.
Key Responsibilities- Meet all established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Represent the company professionally and courteously.
- Partner with the Sales team to ensure account retention through seamless customer support and order fulfillment troubleshooting.
- Perform data entry, quote support, record management, research activities, logistics coordination, shipment scheduling, and other defined processes.
- Manage customer master data (shipping conditions, contract pricing, contact information, CRM data, invoicing, order entry).
- Proactively drive account management and move opportunities forward.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify and resolve customer issues.
- Improve customer VMI programs, optimize items, and increase service profitability.
- Set selling prices and profit margins per company guidelines, researching profitability concerns.
- Support continuous‑improvement reviews for customers.
- Use reporting tools for inventory review and new item additions.
- Manage customer portals for demand, quote requests and corrective actions.
- Build and maintain customer relationships; become a trusted consultative advisor.
Job Duties
- Read and interpret customer drawings to provide accurate quotes.
- Recommend internal process improvements.
- Respond timely to requests via phone, fax, email, or chat.
- Upsell products and services through weekly sales or company promotions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma/GED acceptable.
- Minimum 3–5 years of customer service, inside sales or related experience.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with SAP is advantageous.
- Ability to read and analyze customer purchase orders, drawings, and vendor reference material.
- Strong analytical skills to make data‑driven decisions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent judgement and decision‑making abilities.
- Ability to build credibility, respect, and trust with internal colleagues and external customers.
- Motivated, team‑oriented, and capable of resolving conflict.
- Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.
