Revenue Operations Associate; Entry Level

Hernon Manufacturing is seeking a recent college graduate—or someone with relevant customer service or commercial operations experience—to begin a career in Revenue Operations and Business Development. This position offers hands‑on experience in customer communication, sales outreach, quoting, order processing, and the systems that support a manufacturing business.

No prior Revenue Operations or business development experience is required. We will provide training in Hernon's products, processes, and business systems. We're looking for someone who is curious, organized, comfortable talking with people, and eager to learn.

This position requires full-time, onsite attendance at our Sanford, Florida headquarters. Candidates must live within commuting distance. Remote and hybrid work arrangements are not available.

• Contact prospective customers using provided account lists, messaging, and guidance.
• Follow up on inquiries from our website, marketing campaigns, and trade shows.
• Research companies and gather basic information about their needs.
• Follow up on quotations and reconnect with inactive customers.
• Schedule conversations with our sales team when a customer has a potential opportunity.
• Record customer conversations, outreach activity, and next steps in Zoho CRM.

• Learn to prepare routine quotations and enter customer orders using established procedures.
• Help answer customer questions and provide updates on quotes and orders.
• Assist with sample requests, new customer information, and routine documentation.
• Keep customer records accurate and complete.
• Document customer concerns and route them to the appropriate colleague.
• Work with the Revenue Operations Lead and sales team to complete assigned tasks, resolve questions, and follow established workflows.

• Recent college graduate, or 1-3 years of experience in customer service, sales support, or commercial operations in lieu of a college degree.
• Interest in building a career in Revenue Operations, business development, or sales.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Willingness to speak with customers and make outbound calls.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Basic computer skills and comfort learning new software.
• Initiative, reliability, and willingness to ask questions and accept feedback.

No prior Revenue Operations experience is required. For recent graduates, internships, part-time employment, campus activities, and customer service experience are welcome but not required. Prior knowledge of SAP Business One, Zoho CRM, or Zoho Desk is not expected.
