TRP Infrastructure Services is seeking an Airfield Marking Technician to join our Water Blasting team. This hands-on role supports equipment cleaning, routine maintenance, repairs, and field operations. We are looking for someone who takes initiative, works well with a crew, and is eager to learn multiple roles while making safety a priority.
RequirementsWhat You Will Do
- Manually clean and repair valves, hoses, pumps, and tanks in accordance with training and established procedures.
- Inspect equipment, identify deficiencies, and promptly report concerns or needed repairs to the supervisor.
- Perform daily equipment maintenance, including fueling and routine checks.
- Support maintenance and Water Blasting crews with assigned equipment and field tasks.
- Follow established lockout/tagout procedures and jobsite safety protocols.
- Communicate clearly with coworkers using verbal instructions and established non-verbal signals.
- Exercise sound judgment when accessing worksites and performing assigned operations.
- Learn additional roles and perform other assigned duties consistent with training and safety requirements.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and willing to take initiative to learn and grow.
- Knowledge of lockout/tagout procedures and safe equipment practices.
- Ability to follow directions, work as part of a team, and adapt to changing project needs.
- Previous equipment maintenance, water blasting, or related field experience is a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Flexible availability to meet project schedules, including nights and weekends.
- Ability to work outdoors in changing and adverse weather conditions while following safety procedures.
- Ability to walk and stoop regularly throughout the workday.
- Ability to lift and move materials and equipment weighing 50-100 pounds, using team lifting or mechanical assistance for heavier loads.
