• Scheduled/unscheduled aircraft maintenance on all aircraft systems; piston engine, propeller, airframe, flight control, landing gear, troubleshooting systems, sheet metal, and composite repair.
• Perform all maintenance in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations and manufacturers’ technical data.
• Maintain hand and special tools in a safe and serviceable condition.
• Responsible for personal and company tool accountability, including reporting unserviceable tools and equipment to the appropriate responsible party.
• Report to the Manager of Aircraft Maintenance.
• Performs serviceability checks before operating powered and non‑powered support equipment. Complies with established policies, procedures, and standards.
• Assists other mechanics as required. Complies with all safety, environmental, security, and housekeeping standards.
• Complies with training requirements.
• Assists in training newly assigned personnel. Operates vehicles, both special‑purpose and regular, as authorized.
• Practices good housekeeping, tool control, FOD awareness/prevention, and safety always.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on all Acron Aviation’s aircraft, including weekends and holidays.

• Perform daily maintenance tasks.
• Schedule maintenance tasks.
• Communicate maintenance status to management.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on Acron Aviation’s training fleet of aircraft.
• Maintain records.
• Maintain inventory.
• Make recommendations for solutions.

• High School Diploma or equivalent with at least 4 years of experience.
• Inspection Authorization.
• Both Airframe and Powerplant certificates with no violations.
• Current driver’s license.
• Pass a 10‑year FBI background check.
• Minimum tool list.

• Experience with general aviation aircraft.
• Strong communication skills.
• Excel familiarity.
