Description

Join Maine Health as a Behavioral Health Clinician II – Pediatrics. This part‑time, 20‑hour/week role, day shift, offers up to a $10,000 sign‑on bonus for eligible clinicians. The position is located at Maine Health Kennebunk Pediatrics, a well‑established practice that integrates behavioral health into primary care.

Sign‑On Bonus

Maine Health offers up to $10,000 sign‑on bonus for all eligible Behavioral Health Clinicians. Current Maine Health members are ineligible; former employees must be separated for more than 3 months before eligibility. Bonuses may be prorated based on schedule.

Hours & Schedule

~20 hours per week, part‑time, day shift.

Licensure

Maine state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.

Role Overview

As an integral member of a multidisciplinary primary‑care team, you will deliver holistic behavioral health care while reducing stigma for patients. You will provide screening, assessment, and focused brief treatment to patients, working individually, in families, and with groups. Additional duties include curbside consultation to providers, coordinating patients to additional services and supports, and participating in population health initiatives targeting specific patient groups.

Responsibilities
  • Providing screening, assessment, and focused brief treatment.
  • Delivering individual, family, and group therapy sessions.
  • Offering curbside consultation to primary‑care providers.
  • Linking patients to supplementary services and supports.
  • Participating in population health activities that target specific groups.
  • Collaborating with psychiatrists and other integrated clinicians.
  • Engaging in individual and group supervision, psychiatry consultation, and quarterly trainings.
Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Clinical Counseling, Addiction Treatment, or a related field.
  • Licensed LCPC, LCSW, or LMFT from the State of Maine Office of Professional and Occupational Regulation (OPOR).
  • At least two years of behavioral‑health experience, including employment as a conditionally licensed clinician.
  • Comfortable working with all age groups; knowledge of substance use disorders preferred.
