Ready to put your CNC machining and tool grinding skills to work? Our client in Springvale is hiring a CNC Machinist for an immediate opening on the day shift. This is an excellent opportunity to join a small, team-oriented company where your experience and attention to detail make a direct impact. This position pays $21-$35/hr based on experience and is long-term with potential for temp-to-hire placement.
If you enjoy precision machining, troubleshooting equipment, and producing high-quality components, this could be a great fit. You'll work with advanced CNC grinding equipment to manufacture high-performance carbide cutting tools while collaborating with a supportive and experienced team.
Typical daily duties:- Operate and maintain CNC grinding machines to produce carbide cutting tools
- Set up machines, monitor production runs, and adjust parameters as needed
- Perform quality inspections using precision measuring instruments
- Maintain production and quality records
- Troubleshoot equipment and process issues to minimize downtime
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals
- High School Diploma or equivalent and 1-3+ years of experience operating and programming CNC grinding machines
- Strong knowledge of tool grinding principles and machining techniques
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Experience using precision measuring instruments for quality control
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
