. This is a full-time role based at our Sanford campus location. The Nursing Supervisor provides direct patient care and nursing leadership, supports daily unit operations, serves as a clinical resource, and promotes high-quality, compassionate care.

• Assist Nurse Manager to support daily unit operations and ensure a 24-hour nursing care system that meets patient and family needs.
• Provide direct patient care and serve as a clinical resource to staff.
• Plan, develop and implement systems and procedures to maintain high standards of patient care, competent personnel, cost effectiveness, and effective communication.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor s Degree in Nursing;
  Master s Degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
• Licensure/
  
  Certifications:
  
  Current Registered Nurse license by the Maine State Board of Nursing required.
• Experience:
  
  Minimum of five (5) years nursing experience, with at least three (3) years in a supervisory or management capacity.
• Ability to effectively communicate with nursing staff, physicians and other staff members.
