Join a thriving outpatient oncology practice with First Health of the Carolinas
. We are seeking a compassionate Hematologist/Oncologist to become part of our dedicated cancer care team in Sanford, North Carolina. This is a rewarding opportunity to practice in a collaborative, patient-focused environment—without the burden of inpatient call.
About the Opportunity:
- Outpatient-only schedule — no inpatient consults or hospital rounds.
- Established referral base with consistent patient flow.
- Team-based care: supported by an experienced NP, RN, CMA, and full admin staff.
- Infusion suite on site with chemo-certified nurses.
- Access to system-wide support including specialty pharmacy, nurse navigators, and integrative medicine.
- Participation in multidisciplinary tumor boards for collaborative case reviews.
- Clinical trials support is available if interested in research. Our clinical trials program received the Gold Seal Award from SCOR and NCI.
- Benefit from the resources of the new ACoS accredited First Health Cancer Center in Pinehurst —a state-of-the-art, 120,000-square-foot facility offering fully integrated oncology care. The center includes modern treatment spaces, palliative care, patient navigation and support services, nutrition counseling, a wellness center, and a healing garden designed to promote whole-person care.
