Lead Business Instructor

Overview

Full-time faculty at Central Carolina Community College facilitate transformative lifelong learning by incorporating discipline-specific learning outcomes through active learning opportunities, lectures, hands-on skill development, assignments, and appropriate classroom management. Faculty provide authentic student assessment that allows students to improve their knowledge and skills with each assignment. Faculty focus on student success by establishing meaningful connections with students early in the semester to support the varying needs of each student throughout the semester.

The Lead Business Instructor (9 months) position will be based at the Lee Main Campus and may also include courses offered at the Harnett and Chatham campuses.

Lead and deliver business instruction as a nine-month position at Central Carolina Community College. Facilitate transformative lifelong learning by implementing discipline-specific learning outcomes, active learning opportunities, and hands-on skill development. Assess student progress with authentic assignments and provide feedback to support continual improvement. Build relationships with students early in the semester to support diverse learning needs and foster student success.

• Master's degree with a major in Business:
  Human Resource Management OR
• Master's degree in a related discipline with 18 graduate semester hours in Human Resource Management
