Chief Financial Officer – Sanford, NC

The Chief Financial Officer performs extremely complex and/or sensitive accounting activities associated with the assigned responsibility and oversees the operations of the Finance Department. The position is responsible for managing, monitoring, and evaluating the general ledger, accounts receivable/resident accounting, accounts payable/payroll, Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher program, and other accounting activities and services of the Finance Department.

• Manage, monitor, and evaluate the general ledger, accounts receivable/resident accounting, accounts payable/payroll, Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher program, and other accounting activities and services of the Finance Department.
• Oversee operations of the Finance Department to ensure accurate, timely financial reporting and compliance with applicable HUD programs and standards.
• Contribute to agency performance ratings in HUD evaluation systems (PHAS, SEMAP, and related assessments).
• Collaborate with executive leadership to support financial planning, budgeting, and internal controls.
