Central Carolina Medical Group has 13 physician practices comprising primary care, cardiology, general surgery, urology, orthopedics and sports medicine, and pulmonology. We employ more than 30 providers and are growing to better serve the needs of the residents of Lee County and beyond. How you'll Contribute

A Respiratory Therapist who excels in this role:

  • Measures lung capacity and analyzes blood samples using a blood gas analyzer; may perform bedside PFTs, EKGs, and tobacco‑cessation education as ordered.
  • Delivers ordered respiratory therapies; monitors, records, and communicates patient condition and response to treatment.
  • Responds to codes and emergent calls; assesses patient condition and provides appropriate interventions.
  • Evaluates and contributes to respiratory care policies and procedures based on outcomes, research, and best practices.
  • Educates patients and families on illness, treatments, device use, and community resources.
  • Monitors, receives, stocks, and distributes respiratory supplies and medical gas cylinders; maintains storage areas and equipment readiness.
  • Disassembles, cleans, sterilizes, performs preventive maintenance, and calibrates respiratory equipment.
  • Performs all responsibilities as needed to fulfill required service levels.
  • Participates in performance improvement and required education.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
What we are looking for

Bachelor's degree in respiratory therapy required.

  • Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) based out of North Carolina
