CNA Emergency Department evenings

Overview

CNA 2 Emergency Department FT evenings -  at Central Carolina

• Assists with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to the Medical/Surgical/Pediatric patient and assists in maintenance of a safe and clean environment; performs more complex clinical skills under the direction of a licensed nurse.
• After completion of instruction and competency, performs phlebotomy on ER patients as directed.
• After completion of instruction and competency, performs 12 lead EKGs on ER patients as directed.
• Schedule:
  
  3 shifts per week, 11am-11pm; includes weekend and holiday rotation.

• Training commensurate with Nursing Assistant II certification, REQUIRED.
• 1 year experience in a health care setting, preferred.
• Current NA II listing with the NC Board of Nursing and current NA I listing with the NC Division of Facility Services, REQUIRED.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain CPR according to CCH policy.
• Basic computer skills, preferred.
• Must be able to work on smoke-free campus.
• Able to be flexible, organized and function under stressful situations.
