Description
Description Performs sonographic procedures for the diagnosis of medical conditions. Assists radiologist with biopsy procedures. Procedures will be performed according to departmental protocols, policies and procedures and established standards of practice. Exercises professional judgment in performance of services and maintains a demeanor reflective of medical ethics. Assesses and monitors patients, and provides appropriate patient care.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Required PreferredTraining commensurate with ARRT Certification

Advanced Modality Training
X
Experience Required Preferred Previous radiology experience in health care settingXPrevious experience in at least one of the following:
Computerized Tomography, Ultrasound, or Nuclear Medicine
XLicensure / Certification Required Preferred ARRT Certification in Radiography
XARDMS Certification or ARRT Advanced Certification in Ultrasound
XCPR according to CCH policy
XOther Minimum Abilities / Aptitudes Required Preferred
Basic computer skills

Able to work independently and under stressful situations
