BAYADA Home Health Care is currently seeking an experienced Physical Therapist (PT) for a full-time opportunity performing home health visits in our Kennebunk, Maine office. This office services adult and geriatric clients on a per-visit basis throughout Maine.
One year of prior clinical experience as a licensed Physical Therapist is required. As a home care Physical Therapist, you will be an integral member of a multidisciplinary healthcare team that provides rehabilitative care and skilled nursing, enabling clients to receive necessary medical care while remaining at home.

Responsibilities for a PT include:
- Making home visits to clients in designated territories.
- Performing diagnostic tests such as mobility, joint range of motion, transfer status, stability, gait patterns, muscle strength and endurance, balance, and safety assessments.
- Implementing wound care interventions using evidence-based dressings and topical agents.
- Developing and implementing individualized care plans, including manual therapeutic exercises, gait training, and balance interventions.
- Assessing and revising care plans regularly, collaborating with nursing staff as needed.
- Educating clients and their families on rehabilitative activities to promote health, safety, and independence.
- Documenting observations, interventions, and evaluations accurately using electronic devices.
Qualifications include:
- A current Maine Physical Therapist (PT) license.
- At least one year of recent clinical experience as a PT.
- Graduation from an accredited program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association or the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Solid computer skills; experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
