Director of Plant Operations (Full-Time)

Directs the department's activities and resources to achieve departmental and organizational objectives.

Central Carolina Hospital is a 137-bed acute care hospital serving the health care needs of Lee County and surrounding communities.

• Develops and implements departmental goals longest and creative cooperation with the organization, consistent with the clinical, administrative, legal and ethical responsibilities.

• Directs and evaluates departmental operations, including patient care delivery, information technologies, service level determination, and complaint management, to achieve performance and quality control objectives.

• Plans and monitors staffing activities, including hiring, orientation, evaluation, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives.

• Prepares, monitors, and evaluates departmental budgets, and ensures the department(images) operates in compliance with allocated funding.

• Coordinates and directs internal/external audits.

• Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth.

• Ensures department stays focused on its important role in the continuum of care.

Manage the work of others, including planning, assigning, scheduling, and reviewing work, ensuring quality standards. Responsible for hiring, terminating, training and developing, reviewing performance, and administering corrective action for staff.

• Bachelor's Degree in related youll field required
• Applicable work experience may be used in lieu of education
