The primary function of the Spinning Technician is to make sure the spin frames run effectively and efficiently.

• Check air frame suction.
• Blow out piecers, doffers, shuttles, starter stations, tube/cone elevators.
• Check Sliver monitors.
• Check and maintain piecer station.
• Repair positions flagged by Quality Control or the spinner.
• Change tugger batteries.
• Maintain and clean casters on the sliver trailers/carts.
• Ability to lift and install motors.
• Push and pull cart around.
• Climb ladder for repairs.
• Ability to drive lift trucks.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Associate degree in Machines/PLC’s preferred or equivalent job experience (1-2 years) in a cotton industry.
• Ability to walk/be on feet for 12-hour shifts
• Good Reliability and willingness to learn
• Ability to work in a cotton dust environment
