** Job Description Summary
** The Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Co-Op supports the implementation and continuous improvement of environmental, health, and safety programs within a fast-paced automotive manufacturing facility. This role assists with ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, promoting a safe workplace culture, and supporting sustainability initiatives.

* Job Description:

*** Assist with safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments throughout the manufacturing facility.
* Support incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action tracking.
* Help maintain EHS records, reports, and regulatory documentation.
* Participate in employee safety training and awareness programs.
* Monitor environmental compliance activities, including waste management and recycling programs.
* Assist with ergonomic evaluations and workplace hazard identification.
* Support continuous improvement projects focused on safety, environmental performance, and regulatory compliance.
* Collaborate with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to promote safe work practices.
** Required Skills and Education
*** Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Expected graduation December 2026 or Spring 2027.
* Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a manufacturing environment.

This position provides hands-on experience in EHS operations while contributing to a safe, compliant, and environmentally responsible automotive manufacturing workplace.
