Overview

Position Overview Cool Springs Baptist Church, located in Sanford, NC, is prayerfully seeking a Lead Pastor to shepherd a multi-generational, Southern Baptist-affiliated congregation with an average attendance of 250 to 275 individuals. The ideal candidate will embody humility and spiritual maturity, demonstrating a life above reproach, and will be devoted to daily prayer and personal study. A commitment to God’s Inerrant and Infallible Word, along with effective preaching and teaching, is essential.

• The Lead Pastor will be responsible for:
  Proclaiming the Gospel of Christ.
• Fostering an environment conducive to worship, spiritual growth, and discipleship.
• Providing leadership and guidance for the church staff.
• Partnering with the church membership to develop a clear, spirit-inspired vision for the congregation and encouraging its fulfillment.
