Registered Nurse (Labor & Delivery) – Central Carolina Hospital

As a Registered Nurse on the Labor & Delivery team, you’ll embrace a vital mission dedicated to making communities healthier.

Schedule:

PRN – 12 hr. shifts + rotating weekends.

Earn a $20,000 Commitment Bonus.

Core Responsibilities
  • Accurately perform patient assessments and identify patient needs.
  • Identify and initiate appropriate nursing interventions.
  • Provide care appropriate to the condition and age of the patient.
  • Perform timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record.
  • Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.

Qualifications
  • Current North Carolina state or compact state RN license.
  • Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire.
  • ACLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
  • NRP Advanced certification required within 90 days of hire.
  • AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certification required within 90 days of hire.
  • Associate's degree in nursing required (Bachelor's degree preferred).
  • One year of RN experience in a health care OB/L&D/PP/Nursery setting preferred.
