Travel RN - Operating Room

American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Operating Room position requiring 1-2 years of OR experience and NC or compact RN licensure.

• Active RN license (NC or Compact) required
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and CPI/HWC/MAB
• 1-2 years of OR nursing experience required
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
• Active Nursys licensure verification required at time of consideration
• Copies of required certifications must be provided

• Surgery Unit within an acute care hospital setting, serving all patient ages
• Operating Room specialty requiring specialized RN experience, not a floor unit
• 3-bed unit using Cerner EMR
• Day shift schedule from 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM
• Weekend coverage required every other weekend or as needed
• Call requirements include 12 shifts per month and one weekend per month, with a 30-minute response time
• Floating required as needed
• Provide direct patient care in the Operating Room across all age groups
• Report to the Director of Surgical Services
• Scrubs are provided and casual attire is not permitted
• Candidates must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to qualify for the travel rate
• Travelers cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere on a full-time basis
• Weekly orientation held on Mondays
