Position Title: Senior Accountant
Location: Irvine, CA
Assignment Type: Permanent Hire
Compensation: $100,000 – $115,000 / Annually, plus bonus potential
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Benefits: This position is eligible for Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401(k).
Job Description:We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join a growing accounting team supporting general ledger and rebate-related accounting activities. This role was added due to continued growth and will work closely with accounting leadership to support month‑end close, reconciliations, financial analysis, and reporting. The ideal candidate has a strong accounting foundation, excellent analytical skills, and thrives in a fast‑paced, data‑driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in month‑end close activities, including preparation and review of journal entries
- Prepare and review complex balance sheet reconciliations
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts and support financial statement preparation
- Prepare and analyze rebate-related calculations, journal entries, and account reconciliations
- Perform analytical reviews to identify variances, trends, and ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
- Support margin and performance analysis by product line and provide reporting for senior leadership
- Partner cross‑functionally to improve processes, enhance automation, and strengthen internal controls
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and audit requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 4–6+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong general ledger accounting experience; exposure to rebates, revenue, or cost accounting preferred
- Advanced Excel skills and ability to work with large datasets
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
