Sr. Drainage Engineer​/Project Manager

We are looking for a Senior Drainage Engineer or Project Manager to join our client's growing team of design enthusiasts and engineering professionals. Your role will include project design from preliminary studies through construction administration and project closeout, providing leadership and technical training to junior staff and playing an instrumental role in contributing to the health and growth of the business.

You will provide technical designs and oversight, prepare engineering plans, work with project managers and junior staff and handle a substantial workload of diverse tasks.

• Lead project design for multiple projects
• Identify design criteria, plan and execute effective designs
• Plan, organize and supervise project activities
• Advise staff on land development operations and project-specific tasks with an emphasis on drainage, storm water management, and hydrology/hydraulics
• Ensure tasks are completed and schedules are met
• Provide solutions to design challenges
• Supervise preparation of and when needed, prepare technical reports

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• PE Required
• 7-18 years of experience with an emphasis on drainage and storm water management for land and site development projects
• Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and judgment capabilities
• Excellent time management skills
• Proven ability to foster relationships with staff
• Proven ability to successfully work on multiple projects concurrently
• Flexible to accommodate changing needs of the company, clients, employees and/or projects
• Proactive and intrinsically motivated
• Consistent delivery of high-quality, technically sound material
• Required:
