Overview
The Talent Acquisition Specialist partners with hiring managers to develop and implement recruiting strategies that attract talented candidates to the company. Acting as an internal consultant, the Specialist influences and educates leadership on talent acquisition processes and best practices, sources and screens candidates, negotiates final offers (non-Clinical), and leads the onboarding process for new team members.
Responsibilities- Perform full-cycle recruiting of new personnel, employing effective sourcing techniques and recruiting strategies.
- Manage, update, and audit candidate activity in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and generate reports as needed.
- Develop and maintain strong rapport with business managers and key leaders to appropriately staff short- and long-term human capital plans.
- Establish and maintain ongoing relationships with external vendors and recruiting partners.
- Develop and post position announcements and job ads from job descriptions or summaries.
- Conduct searches for qualified candidates using databases, networking, social media, job fairs, and employee referrals while cultivating a diverse candidate pipeline.
- Review applications/resumes, refer qualified applications to hiring managers, and coordinate interviews.
- Oversee pre-employment assessments, phone screens, in-person interviews, reference checks, and background checks.
- Stay current on company organization, personnel policy, and federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Serve as liaison with area employment agencies, colleges, and industry associations.
- Build trust and credibility with clients through effective consultation at all recruiting stages.
- Analyze the labor market and recommend recruiting strategies aligned with hiring needs.
- Deliver an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruiting process.
- Execute new employee onboarding and orientations.
- Recommend and implement new processes or policies to improve efficiency.
- Maintain compliance with employment laws and internal policies; uphold employee privacy and confidentiality.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field.
5-7+ years of experience in Human Resources focused on Talent Acquisition. - Experience building and maintaining ATS systems.
- Preferred: HR experience in the healthcare industry.
- Preferred:
Paylocity HRIS System and implementation experience. - Preferred: PHR or SPHR certification.
- Strong knowledge of talent acquisition best practices and online recruiting techniques.
- Excellent relationship management, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and Paylocity knowledge a plus.
Salary Range: $75,000 - $85,000 per year.
