The Senior IT Systems Consultant will provide subject matter expertise to support the Outage Management System (OMS) implementation specifically utilizing Open Grid Network (formerly Pragma

UP/Pragma

LINE). This role requires deep technical experience in OMS application support, system integration, and operational support within an electrical utility environment. The candidate must be capable of working independently on complex technical initiatives and contributing to system upgrades, configuration, testing, and operational stability.

• Provide subject matter expertise for OMS-related projects, operational activities, and customer communications.
• Support the OMS implementation at SCE using Open Grid Network (Pragma
  
  UP/Pragma
  
  LINE).
• Assist with system logic, processes, and OMS-related data analysis.
• Contribute to upcoming database and server operating system upgrades
  , including:
  • OMS configuration
  • System testing
  • Hands-on technical and operational support
• Perform technical planning, system integration, verification, and validation activities.
• Conduct cost, risk, supportability, and effectiveness analyses across system lifecycle phases (design through disposal).
• Translate customer and operational requirements into hardware and software specifications.
• Evaluate hardware and software deliveries for installation into the operational baseline.
• Ensure solutions meet technical, schedule, and cost constraints.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or a related field (Master’s Degree preferred).
• Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered.
• Typically 15+ years of experience performing complex technical analysis, consulting, and project management.
• Proven ability to work independently and resolve complex system implementation issues.
• Strong background in electrical utility Outage Management Systems (OMS) with back-office application support experience.
