- Manage emergency response procedures, drills, and compliance inspections.
- Support capital equipment installations and process changes through an EHS lens.
- Conduct audits of safety systems (fire suppression, ventilation, PPE, hoists, eyewash stations, etc.).
- Lead the Site HSE Committee and drive closure of action items through leadership collaboration.
- Serve as the main point of contact during regulatory audits and inspections.
- Champion 6S workplace organization across all departments, including production, warehouse, and admin areas.
- Train and guide managers and staff on safety protocols and compliance best practices.
- Manage facility operations, ensuring uptime and efficiency across shared services.
- Conduct risk assessments, incident investigations, and root cause analyses.
- Implement corrective/preventive actions and track progress through safety KPIs.
- Monitor cost efficiency and develop budgets for shared services and facilities maintenance.
- Sustain best‑in‑class 6S and safety standards across all work areas.
- Identify and execute safety and environmental initiatives that reduce risk and improve compliance.
- Keep internal programs aligned with evolving regulatory and operational requirements.
- Deliver EH&S training across various employee levels and departments.
- Facilitate safety meetings, share compliance updates, and drive engagement in safety initiatives.
- Maintain clear records for audits, incidents, training, permits, and facility performance.
- Must be bilingual in English and Spanish to effectively lead and support a diverse workforce.
- 10+ years of progressive EHS and Facilities Management experience in a manufacturing environment; aerospace and composites industry experience strongly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
- Deep knowledge of OSHA, EPA, hazardous waste, and environmental compliance protocols.
- Demonstrated success leading 6S/5S implementation and EHS program development.
- Proven track record in regulatory audits, incident investigations, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills across all levels of a facility.
- Experience managing vendors, budgets, facility infrastructure, and site maintenance programs.
- Proficiency with facility management systems and safety compliance software.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CSP, CHMM, CIH) and project management experience are a plus.
