Bindery Machine Operator
FSSI is currently looking for a Bindery Machine Operator to join our team in Santa Ana, CA. This position is responsible for setting up and operating a variety of bindery and print finishing machinery in a high‑volume print and mail processing environment.

CompensationBase pay range: $35,360.00 / yr – $37,440.00 / yr (salary based on skill and experience). Hiring pay range (hourly): $17 – $18

Full‑time:
Monday‑Friday, 10:00 am – 6:30 pm. Overtime is scheduled as needed and may require arriving earlier, staying later, or working weekend shifts during high‑volume production cycles.
- Operate and set‑up machinery that performs print finishing operations, such as inserting, folding, cutting, tabbing, stamping, UV coating, booklet making, and inkjet printing.
- Learn and follow all established quality control procedures to consistently produce with accuracy.
- Flexibility in work schedule is required, frequently 10 or more hours per day and some weekend shifts, on a recurring basis.
- Additional work, as assigned.
- Must have related experience in a fast‑paced manufacturing, production, or related environment.
- Bindery experience is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of GEP Finishing Systems is a plus.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Flexibility in work schedule to work overtime when needed is required.
Continuous standing, walking, and upper body movement for up to 10 hours a day. Regular use of hands and fingers to grasp, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, and speak and hear. Occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Frequent lifting, moving, pulling, and pushing up to 40 pounds. Vision requirements include close, distance, accurate color, peripheral vision, and focus adjustments.
