Welder/Fabricator – Aerospace & Defense Manufacturing
Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (Full-Time, Direct Hire)
Location: Santa Ana, CA
Compensation: $22–$30/hour, Depending on Experience

A well-established manufacturer in the aerospace and defense sector is currently hiring experienced Welder/Fabricators for immediate full-time opportunities. This role offers long‑term stability, a structured schedule, and access to a comprehensive benefits package.
Position SummaryThe Welder/Fabricator is responsible for precision fabrication of custom metal structures using a variety of welding techniques and materials. This position requires the ability to read and interpret CAD drawings, perform accurate measurements, and consistently meet tight production timelines while maintaining a high standard of quality.
Key Responsibilities- Perform GMAW and GTAW welding processes on various metals including steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and titanium
- Interpret engineering drawings and technical documents with accuracy
- Use measurement tools effectively to maintain dimensional tolerances
- Conduct visual and dimensional quality inspections on finished products
- Fabricate high‑precision components with minimal supervision
- Prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast‑paced work environment
- Collaborate effectively with team members and cross‑functional departments
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety‑compliant work area
- Flexibility to work overtime based on production demands
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical/vocational training preferred
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in metal fabrication
- Prior experience in manufacturing or aerospace strongly preferred
- Understanding of aerospace‑grade quality and process standards
Skills:
- Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent time management and organizational ability
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Comfortable working under production deadlines
