The Production Test Technician is responsible for testing and validating the performance of manufactured skids, cartridges, oil reservoirs, and electrical control boxes prior to customer commissioning. This role supports engineering and production teams by capturing critical test data and ensuring products meet safety, compliance, and performance standards.
Key Responsibilities- Test products for safety, capacity, compliance, and performance
- Examine and troubleshoot specific components and assemblies
- Compile and document test data for project and engineering teams
- Perform testing activities under the guidance of the Quality team
- Maintain accurate hydrotest logs, including Safe Work Permits when applicable
- Maintain a clean, organized work area using 5S and good housekeeping practices
- Ensure all tooling and equipment are kept in proper working condition
Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong communication skills
- Physical ability to lift and operate heavy electrical machinery
- Mechanical aptitude and hands‑on technical ability
- Basic computer skills (emailing, form completion, data entry)
- Forklift experience
- Associate’s degree
- Experience with high‑pressure and/or high‑voltage testing
- Excellent hand‑eye coordination
- Ability to work safely in an industrial production environment
