Job Description
Welder Fabricator (TIG/MIG)
Location: Santa Ana, CA
Pay: $20–$26/hr, based on experience
Shifts: 1st shift (5:00am–1:30pm) or 2nd shift (1:30pm–10:00pm), with plenty of overtime available
About the Opportunity
A busy, growing sheet metal fabrication company in Santa Ana is hiring Welder Fabricators. Most of the work is TIG, with some MIG. If you take pride in clean, precise welds and want steady hours with room to grow, this is a good fit.
Responsibilities
- TIG weld sheet metal parts and assemblies, mainly stainless and aluminum, and MIG weld as needed
- Read and work from blueprints, weld symbols and work orders
- Fit up, tack and fabricate parts to spec
- Check your own work for quality and accuracy
- Keep your work area safe and clean
Requirements
- Hands-on TIG welding experience in sheet metal fabrication (MIG is a plus)
- Can read blueprints and use basic measuring tools
- Reliable and detail-oriented, and works well on a team
- Must pass a background check and drug screen
